Today's illustration was inspired by Jean-Charles De Castelbajac Fall 2013 RTW collection. 

For me, this collection is a love at first sight!  As always, his collection is a running commentary about his world view, fashion. “Our world is at the cusp of something, like in the days of the pre-Raphaelites when the train was being invented. Poetry has become obsolete, but I want it to be a weapon.”The theme for this collection is Foxy Lady. "His 'Foxy Lady' is a redheaded firebrand who spearheads this revolution of words. The poetry of her gestures is an act of rebellion, like her coral slicked upper lip, the bottom half remaining nude."--NowfashionIt's a very whimsical and utterly wearable collection. It consists of a series of cozy blanket coats, plaid blanket separates, printed separates and dresses inspired by pre-Raphaelite art.

STEPPING INTO THE GARDEN

Today's illustration was inspired by Alice + Olivia Fall 2013 RTW(again). I can't help myself from painting another illustration inspired by this collection. The blue maxi skirt is definitely my favorite design from this season! This colorful floral print features a variety of flowers and exotic birds, so dreamy and fantastic! It feels like I'm stepping into a magical garden while staring at this skirt...

WEDNESDAY ILLUSTRATION: ALICE + OLIVIA FALL 2013 RTW

Today's illustration was inspired by Alice + Olivia Fall 2013 RTW collection. This season, Stacey Bendet presented us a lovely mix of rich textures, print, and tones; from boiled wools, popcorn knits with embedded pearls, bonded-leather knit jackets, embroidered leather pants, to floral dresses and fancy evening gowns. The designer described her inspiration as “fantasy street style, starting on the streets of Paris with girls in really cool daytime layered looks filled with the unexpected.” --fashionista.com
It's a very free spirited, feminine, fantastical, and fashionable collection!

Today's illustration was inspired by Miu Miu Fall 2013 RTW collection. 

"I worked on instinct. I had kept the idea of taffeta back from Prada—we started with the fabrics here—it had reminded me of Isabelle Adjani in Subway. I wanted the collection to have the feel of something sport, industrial, contemporary, tough. And that polka-dot scarf was the start of Frenchness, frivolity; the starting from sport toward a more feminine feel." --Miuccia Prada

It's simply a pleasure to see this collection! So full of life, joy and fun! Love the polka-dots theme, very delightful and contemporary! This is definitely one of my favorite collections of the season!

WEDNESDAY ILLUSTRATION: ANNA SUI FALL 2013 RTW

Today's illustration was inspired by Anna Sui Fall 2013 RTW collection. French New Wave, Godard, Anna Karina were some of the inspirations behind this season's Anna Sui collection. Anna loved the graphic aesthetics of Godard's films, particularly of how he used red and blue, black and white in his set designs.With the 60s fashion trends in mind , she designed a colorful collection featuring jeune fille jumper dress, boy-watcher sunglasses, colored tights and loafers, matching kneesocks.

WEDNESDAY ILLUSTRATION: DELPOZO FALL 2013 RTW

Today's illustration was inspired by Delpozo Fall 2013 RTW collection.
This season, Madrid-based label Delpozo made an impressive New York fashion week debut, bringing with it a fresh design sensibility."Creative director Josep Font merged two disparate ideas — organic architecture and the femininity of the Victorian era — into a lineup of beautiful dresses, jackets and tops with a focus on volume and sculpting around the shoulders and hips, while still maintaining waist definition."--wwd.com The Delpozo girls looked very feminine and modern in their beautifully crafted designs.

Today's illustration was inspired by Monique Lhuillier Fall 2013 RTW collection.
"This season, Lhuillier found inspiration in a piece of malachite. The gemstone's deep green striations appeared at the end of the runway as the show opened with a series of winter white looks. 'It's kind of like stepping into heaven a little bit,' said Lhuillier."--style.com
My favorites of this collection are the stunning lace gowns, each design was so beautifully designed and artfully decorated in sequins and Baroque beading.

Mis favoritos de esta colección son los vestidos de encaje impresionantes, cada diseño fue tan bellamente diseñadas y decoradas con arte en lentejuelas y pedrería barroca.
