The Hidden Memories – Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2013

Marcus Kan of Draw A Dot. and I decided to work on a collaboration project together. In this series, Marcus and I are going to pick some of the best F/W 2013 accessories and create scenes based on the vibe of each collection. 

"For the first illustration, we have picked the famous crown and the necklace from the Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2013 collection. The 2 accessory pieces have turned into a beautiful frame and captured the moment when the Dolce & Gabbana girl is playing with her favourite pets – the leopards. I find this illustration to be very stunning and it really captures the regalness of the lady. Also, I can see that Sunny‘s illustration skill has once again evolved as her composition skill has really blown me away with this piece."--Marcus

"This illustration was inspired by Dolce & Gabbana RTW F/W 2013 collection. I especially love this season’s outfits and they are meant to fit for a queen (a Byzantine empress). Every Dolce & Gabbana girl looks very confident, majestic, and empowered. In this piece, I wanted to portray the girl as the queen of her world.  I painted a pair of leopards to accompany her because they are very mysterious and fascinating animals. Leopards have held the court with kings and queens in myth, legend, art and literature from ancient times to this day. They feel like the perfect companions for the Dolce & Gabbana queen. I also wish to highlight the golden crowns, beautiful accessories, meticulously crafted dress that made out of mosaic beadings and crystal gems."--Sunny

WEDNESDAY ILLUSTRATION: DELPOZO FALL 2013 RTW

Today's illustration was inspired by Delpozo Fall 2013 RTW collection.
This season, Madrid-based label Delpozo made an impressive New York fashion week debut, bringing with it a fresh design sensibility."Creative director Josep Font merged two disparate ideas — organic architecture and the femininity of the Victorian era — into a lineup of beautiful dresses, jackets and tops with a focus on volume and sculpting around the shoulders and hips, while still maintaining waist definition."--wwd.com The Delpozo girls looked very feminine and modern in their beautifully crafted designs.

WEDNESDAY ILLUSTRATION: GIAMBATTISTA VALLI SPRING 2013 COUTURE

Today's illustration was inspired by Giambattista Valli Spring 2013 couture collection. 
This collection consists of a series of designs exploring black and white animal prints and some dresses composed from blooms and feathers. 
It's a very dreamy and delicate collection!

Today's illustration is inspired by Christian Dior SS 2013 RTW collection.

I especially love the iridescent balloon floral-printed skirts and those shiny stilettos!

WEDNESDAY ILLUSTRATION: DOLCE & GABBANA FALL 2012 RTW | MIERCOLES ILUSTRACIÓN‏

Today's illustration is inspired by Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 RTW collection, one of my favorite show from the fall season. I have been very addicted to the gold and black color combination lately, so I'm so fond of the golden ecclesiastical embroidery and intricate black lace combination from the outfits.
The Dolce & Gabbana girls looked very beautiful and innocent in their tiaras, hair ornaments, and dangly earrings,“something between princesses and virgins” as Stefano Gabbana called them.

Chanel Resort 2013

I'm so addicted to Chanel Resort 2013 collection, so I can't resist painting a few looks from this collection! These are my top three favorites from this collection, I think they look cute together, don't you think?:)

WEDNESDAY ILLUSTRATION: MIU MIU FALL 2012 RTW | MIERCOLES ILUSTRACIÓN‏

I was so excited when I came across Miu Miu Fall 2012 collection! The focus of this collection is suit dressing: straight, loose blazers and trousers and shiny jewel tones. Art Nouveau-ish floral prints and bright graphics for the patterns brought a touch of the feminine and elegance.
The make up look from this collection is very bold and interesting. Love the double eye shadow in white and light blue, pastel lips and black jewel embellishments!

Me sentí muy emocionada cuando mire la colección de Miu Miu Otoño 2012  El objetivo de esta colección es vestirse en traje rectos chaquetas y pantalones sueltos y los tonos brillantes en las joyas. Arte Nouveau-ish estampados florales y gráficos brillantes fue un toque femenino y elegante.  
El maquillaje de esta colección esta muy acentuado y interesante. Me encanta la doble sombra de ojos en blanco y azul claro. los labios en colores pasteles y los adornos de joyas en color negro!
