Today's illustration was inspired by Anna Sui Fall 2013 RTW collection. French New Wave, Godard, Anna Karina were some of the inspirations behind this season's Anna Sui collection. Anna loved the graphic aesthetics of Godard's films, particularly of how he used red and blue, black and white in his set designs.With the 60s fashion trends in mind , she designed a colorful collection featuring jeune fille jumper dress, boy-watcher sunglasses, colored tights and loafers, matching kneesocks.

ReplyDeleteWow this is just gorgeous. And I agree with Rachel, though I suppose that was the point. Really beautiful girl, bird, outfit, etc. And I also loved Anna Sui's collection for NYFW, but then again she never disappoints.
