Today's illustration is inspired by Anna Sui Spring 2013 collection. Anna Sui made magic with a high-low style combo. The inspiration of season's collection is a combination of the work of the French interior-decorating legend Madeleine Castaing, Victorian style, Japanese lolita and London's and New York's punk underworlds. 

The make up from this show is very lovely too! I like the cotton-candy-colored hair and double-liner makeup look wore by the Anna Sui girls!

La Ilustración de hoy está inspirada por la colección de primavera de Anna Sui. Anna Sui hace magia con un combo de estilo high-low. La inspiración de la colección de la temporada es una combinación de la obra del francés de decoración interior Castaing leyenda Madeleine, de estilo victoriano, lolita japonesa y los bajos fondos de Londres y de Nueva York punk.
La composición de este espectáculo es muy bonito también! Me gusta el pelo de algodón de azúcar de color y de doble delineador de color para el maquillaje que llevaba las chicas modelos de Anna Sui! Este Maquillaje es unos de mis favoritos!

I overheard a little conversation from two little boys as I walked past them in the park.They look like they are only 4 or 5 years old.

Boy A,"I don't believe in anything!"

Boy B,"Really? You don't even believe in yourself? You need to believe in yourself!"

That cute response just put a smile on my face and kept me thinking all my way home.

It was shocking to hear that from someone at that young age, but oh how right he is!

This week's illustration is inspired by Jason Wu Spring RTW collection. Known for his chic ladylike sophistication, Jason Wu tried something riskier and challenging this season. For this Spring collection, Jason Wu was inspired by the different visions of women celebrated by photographers Helmut Newton and Lillian Bassman, the result was a slew of bra tops, malleable leather and a lot of lace.

The show was quite beautiful, there was so much to love in the pencil skirts, embroidered leather and lace accented blouses.

Conocido por su sofisticación propio de una dama elegante, Jason Wu intentó hacer algo más arriesgado y difícil para la  temporada. Para esta colección de primavera, Jason Wu se inspiró en las diferentes visiones de la mujer celebrado por los fotógrafos Helmut Newton y Lillian Bassman, el resultado fue una serie de tops sujetador, cuero maleable y un montón de encajes.El espectáculo fue muy bonito, había mucho detalle en las faldas lápiz, cuero bordado y los encaje de las blusas acentuadas.

WEDNESDAY ILLUSTRATION: DOLCE & GABBANA FALL 2012 RTW | MIERCOLES ILUSTRACIÓN‏

Today's illustration is inspired by Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 RTW collection, one of my favorite show from the fall season. I have been very addicted to the gold and black color combination lately, so I'm so fond of the golden ecclesiastical embroidery and intricate black lace combination from the outfits.
The Dolce & Gabbana girls looked very beautiful and innocent in their tiaras, hair ornaments, and dangly earrings,“something between princesses and virgins” as Stefano Gabbana called them.

Gucci Cut & Craft Project

I just illustrated and made this mini 3D paper Gucci Stirrup bag for Gucci's "Icons of Heritage-Cut & Craft" contest.  Gucci  is hosting this global social media campaign on their facebook designed to spread awareness of the House’s iconic handbags—the Jackie, the New Bamboo, and the Stirrup—and spark engagement through user-generated content.

It was so hard to choose which one to illustrate since I loved all three! But when I saw Stirrup I knew this is the one! I got so inspired by its leather surface and sleek silhouette, I imagined a secret forest with wild plants and small inhabitants. I wanted to create a sense of luxury and keep it bold and graphic, so I used a simple palette--gold and black. I enjoyed the whole process, from sketching to coloring, making the 3D paper bag to photographing it in different angles!

WEDNESDAY ILLUSTRATION: MARY KATRANTZOU FALL 2012 RTW | MIERCOLES ILUSTRACIÓN‏

This week's illustration is inspired by Mary Katrantzou Fall 2012 RTW collection. I can never get tired of looking at the extraordinary prints she created! This season she used everyday objects such as spoons, typewriter, hedges, 2B pencils, hangers as main subjects to create the prints. This is a collection when beautiful color palettes, unique patterns, impressive sculptural silhouette, breathtaking details all come together!
Aren't the graphic eyeliner look and top knot hair do lovely additions to the fabulous collection?

Ilustración de esta semana es inspirada por Mary Katrantzou Otoño colección 2012 RTW. Nunca me canso de ver las impresiones extraordinarias que han creado! Esta temporada se utiliza objetos cotidianos como cucharas, máquina de escribir, setos, lápices 2B, perchas como sujetos principales de crear las impresiones. Se trata de una colección cuando paletas de colores hermosos, patrones exclusivos, silueta escultórica impresionante, detalles impresionantes todos vienen juntos! el aspecto gráfico del lápiz de ojos y el pelo estilado con moño hace un adicion muy bonita que fabulosa es esta colección!
