Today's illustration is inspired by Preen Fall 2012 RTW collection.
Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi presented us a series of blouses, dresses and  slim pantsuits that covered by botanical flower and butterfly prints, sharp blocks of flat patterns. The whole collection looks so comfortable, versatile and elegant.

WEDNESDAY ILLUSTRATION: PREEN RESORT 2013 | MIERCOLES ILUSTRACIÓN‏

I have always been a big fan of blossoms, so the floral prints in these recent collections have made me very happy and excited!
I especially love the painterly floral prints from Preen Resort 2013 Collection! The over sized flowers and abstract painterly strokes look so powerful together.
Justin Thornton explained the inspiration behind the collection “There are hydrangeas, poppies, gerberas, chrysanthemums, which we love. But we wanted to do something nontraditional with them. So we started looking at Jeff Koons’s paintings with all those super-bright pop colors and brushstrokes dragged across them. And Nick Knight’s photos of flowers.”

Siempre he sido un gran fan de las flores,  los estampados florales en estas colecciones recientes me han hecho muy feliz y emocionada!
Me gusta sobre todo las impresiones pictóricas florales de Preen Resort 2013 Colección! Las flores grandes y el resumen trazos pictóricos se ven tan poderosos juntos.
Justin Thornton explicó la inspiración detrás de la colección "Hay hortensias, amapolas, gerberas, crisantemos, lo que nos gusta. Pero queríamos hacer algo no tradicional con ellos. Así que empezamos a mirar las pinturas de Jeff Koons con todos esos colores pop súper brillantes y pinceladas arrastradas a través de ellos. Y Nick Knight fotos de flores ".

Ralph Lauren presented a series of safari-influenced pieces in seriously bright shades of hyacinth pink, lime, lemon, and orange. Simply love these fresh summery looks!
