Today's illustration was inspired by Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture collection. The show feels so beautiful, serene and surreal.
The inspirations behind this season's collection are spring, flowers and garden. "When Raf Simons read Christian Dior's autobiography during his summer break in Puglia, he found unexpected parallels with his own state of mind, particularly in Dior's love of the countryside, the garden he would retreat to, the flowers he grew there. 'There was such purity in that story,' said Simons."--style.com

La Ilustración de hoy fue inspirada por la colección de primavera 2013 de  Christian Dior Couture. El espectáculo se siente tan hermoso, sereno y surrealista.
La inspiración detrás de la colección de esta temporada son las flores de primavera y el jardín. "Cuando Raf Simons leo  la autobiografía de Christian Dior durante sus vacaciones de verano en Puglia, encontró paralelismos inesperados con su propio estado de ánimo, sobre todo en el amor de Dior del campo, el jardín, se retiraba a las flores que allí crecían." Today's Illustration was inspired by Trend setter Fashionista Nicole Richie Golden Globes 2013 look. The color palette was  exquisite paired with her make -up bringing attention to her eyes in Periwinkle blue. She definitely looked like a modern day Sophia Loren.

Doesn't she look stunning in the her lovely Naeem Khan gown?

La paleta de colores de su vestido era exquisito y su maquillaje llamo ala atención a sus ojos en color de planta vincapervinca azules. Nicole se parecía a Sophia Loren de este tiempo.

Today's illustration is inspired by Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2013 RTW collection.
The inspiration for this season's Alexander McQueen designs is bees!!! LOVE the theme of this season!  The silhouette of the outfits are very dramatic and exaggerated, then there's honeycomb patterns and honey-based color palette used on every design.
"The models' heads were covered in archly modernist beekeepers' veils. The clothes they wore refracted a honeycomb motif through a dozen wasp-waisted guises, bound, haltered, and harnessed in a tortoiseshell that could quite equally have been a rich, sweet toffee."--style.com
