Wish You a Happy Valentine's Day ♥

a blooming world for the two... :)

Lupin
11¾" × 16½" watercolor (click image to see full size)
.
It's interesting, I never thought I would make this painting a Valentine's Day special.:)
At the beginning, I was going to paint more lacewings here and there, but when I looked at the two lacewings in the bloom, I realized, maybe, two is just perfect.
.
I searched the flower meaning of Lupin a couple days ago, to me, its meaning characterizes "Love" pretty well. Lupin means "Voraciousness; admiration, imagination". Love will be very different if it's without any of these.
.
I hope you find your happiness!
.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone~!♥

  6. I love the way you paint flowers, so fresh and vibrant like nothing I've seen before. What brand of watercolours do you use if you don't mind me asking?
This is certainly a lovely image for Valentine's day, and the inspiration from the word Lupin shines through wonderfully!
