Second painting from the jewelry inspired series.

The last one I used a lot of dark colors, so I played around with some sunshine colors for this one,

maybe i'll take a break from the brightness, and use some muted colors for the next one.

Currently working on a series of jewelry inspired paintings.

Sketched out 5 ideas(will possibly doing more), just finished painting the first one.

Will scan the whole series together later(they are too big for my scanner);

in the meantime, I'll bring you some preview photos~:)

Going to my teacher and amazing illustrator Nathan Ota's surprise birthday party in an hour.He's one of the most generous people I have ever met!

Painted a little watercolor card to wish him a happy birthday.:)

I painted it this morning to participate the amazing illustrator Gemma Correll's super fun project "What I Wore Today".
